Merry Christmas from Marshall / Bakersfield Child Photographer

  Marshall is a favorite around here as many of you know.  So when we heard he was liking the idea of making a gingerbread house we couldn't resist building one for his Christmas Card portrait.  We love that Marshall brought his own yummy "bingerman" cookies!

We had a great time and everyone loved the gingerbread house so much that we are thinking we might make another one for a holiday special next year.

Little Russell turned 1 recently and it is hard to believe it has been a year with this little guy.  I've loved watching these kids grow.  He is sweet and not to be over shadowed by his big sisters.  He was so cute hopping around the studio with his trusty horse.

Sometimes you don't see a child for a year and then *poof* there they are and you are staring at a little kid that isn't little anymore!  That would be Miss Payton.  She is just the sweetest little thing, but I worry I wont be able to call her little forever!

 

 

Pick Up times for the holidays!

We are fast approaching Christmas!  We have two days left for pick ups:

Wed - 10:00am , 5:00pm and 7:00 pm.

Thursday - 1:30- 4:30.

Closed Dec 18th- 26th.  We will be in after Christmas to do any newborns that have paid reserved session that were born during the holiday.

So I've been photographing this little guys since he was a newborn.  He is a lot more active these days!  We had to share a little peek.

Sometimes the people are just upstaged by the pets... this was one of those times!  Of course I didn't have my secret weapon (Madison), but  I was lucky that they really were good dogs and as trained as their owners said they were!

So Rue decided it was all about her.... love that!  She is the youngest and definitely the diva of the bunch.

OK, I have been so crazy busy getting orders out for the holidays I'm backed up on the blogging!  So I thought we would get back in the groove with Baby Dylan.  Super cute and super snuggly!

This little guy was all sweet and sleeping then... we had to kick it up a notch!

Parker is just a little snuggle bug so we couldn't help but share his little 3 month session portrait that will be up on his mom's wall in no time!  He is the little brother of Boyd (yes, we have featured him a lot, the little ham!).  Parker is just a sweetheart and we do enjoy seeing him around here too!  If he follows in big brothers foot steps he is sure to be quite the ham in no time!

Miss Jaylee stopped by to rock her 9 month session.  I know, already 9 months and silly as can be.  This girl knows her style and loves to show it off.  We had a little fun with the new white leather couch and then jumped into the baby carriage for a little holiday look.

Miss Kennedy / Bakersfield, CA / Ventura Newborn Photographer

This is Miss Kennedy.  Need we say more... No, but you know I will!  We loved playing with her.  Mom and Grandma traveled from Ventura to come play.  Poor Dad had jury duty so it was just us girls playing away!  We were blessed in capturing their wedding day and now the first little Princess to grace their castle!

Loved playing with the blue - had to do some with the hat on and some with the hat off!

Ready for the holidays in one of my favorite new props- yes an antique baby carriage- this time in red!

We have this wall that we painted TItan blue... seems like we've done everyone, BUT a Titan on the wall... until Brianna!  We were relieved to finally have a Titan on our Titan blue wall!  We had a great time shooting with her.  Fun, a little silly side to go with all that deep thinking seriousness and super cute.

Yes, those blue eyes are all her- no color tweaking!  Bri- you would be happy to hear a young lady was looking at this and said "I want to look like that".  Yep, you have groupies girl.

Yes, it is THAT time!  We are full force holidays!  I love the holidays... and about this time also want them to be further away than they are.  It is a little catch 22.  We are going to try and post on our fan page each day the pick up times.  I'm working on doing something on here, the website, the fan page, somewhere who has orders ready for those pick up times.  There just aren't enough hours in the day (or at least respectable hours!) to call everyone and let them know they have fabulous orders ready!  Let me see what I can do and I'll get back to you all on that idea.  

For now... a little holiday treat... this is Dylan and Chase- super fun and crazy kids that participated in our White Christmas Special.

Sometimes it is just easy to see why a child is so beautiful.  This was one of those times.  I've loved doing portraits for this family and I'm so grateful they are willing to come from the Bay Area to play with me!  We had a little fun at the studio playing and capturing some moments.

Yes, that would be one of new baby carriages that I have collected.  It is a 1940 Thayer.  I know I have a little addiction to fabulous props!
