Thanks for a Great Halloween!

We had a great time seeing everyone today!  The costumes were fabulous guys!  Just wanted to say thank you for taking your time to come out and all the generosity for out Relay for Life Team!  Almost everyone that came by bought the image and made the donation to our team.  Also Angela, Kristen, Madison were helping out along with Julie from Heart of Clarity who was such a big help today.  You guys are the best. 

So all images have been emailed (with the exception of staff images).

For those that were handed dark images in the mid part of the chaos... Angela fixed the problem and she is going to take the printer and the files to the boutique.  She would be happy to exchange your darker print for a better one!  We thought we were being soooo cool overnight that new printer so we could give you guys prints before you left!  It did give us great ideas for next year though!  I know if you have  your file you might not care that you left with a dark print... but it is killing me!

If for some reason you didn't get your email let us know- double check and see if it went to junk mail, make sure you can receive a 1M file.

Halloween 2008

Welcome Home Baby Peyton

Tori and Brian were one of our beautiful wedding couples a little over a year ago and now... they are celebrating their new son Peyton.  He is such a blessing.  While he spent his first few weeks in the NICU in LA he is now home and sunggling with all his family here in Bakersfield.  Thanks for letting inky-dinky-do share the joy guys!

This little guy is Zach.  his family likes, I mean really likes USC.  So why fight it!  Instead we embrace it!  This is a perfect example of something fun you can do with teh got game promotion coming up in November.

Why Wedding Photographer's don't like....

People shooting over their shoulders.
Out of a series of photographs from Jamielynn & JC's wedding our Plan B team had to toss about 20% due to the the flash of a little Paparatzi.  I was going along deleting them all shaking my head... and then I realized people might want to see why we aren't wanting tons of people shooting over our shoulders.  It really isn't because we are mean!   Luckily all those little lines of a camera trying to focus didn't dampen any spirits at the wedding!

We had such a great time seeing everyone in their costumes last year!  We are doing our Halloween photos again this year.  We have decided that we need more room so instead of the studio we will be doing photos at the studio... The Witches Stewwwdio that is!

Hours: 1:30 - 5:00pm please be there by 4:30

If you would like your image emailed to you for printing at your leisure you can for only $20.  So why not make some Halloween Cards!  We will be donating the profits to our charities!

So bring the kids in their costumes and don't forget to bring a friend to share the fun!  We do ask that we limit this time to kids and no pets (that is Madison's talent not mine!)  Kids dressed as pet- of course!

Want to save time- fill out your form early and bring it with you!  Thanks for the great idea last year on that one guys!

COOL SPORTS NIGHT!

Ever wish you knew about some sports team or organization before the season started?

Ever wonder how people learn about these (like us with the new rec soccer league - the Brigade!) well Terrio has come up with a great idea!  They are sponsoring a fun night at the Edge (which mean super cool training facility in Rosedale) for all of us folks to come see what is available in town!  ALL sports- gymnastics, soccer, track, swimming... they haven't forgotten any of them.  Meet the people involved, get information on events and what they can offer your family!  Not to mention get answers to those questions like... how good do you have to be to try out for club soccer?  what soccer teams are there to choose from?  not only get the answer- but meet the different teams in one location!

We were so impressed with the idea we decided we want to be involved!  So one of those cool prizes they will be giving away will be from us!

Bumbo Seats Recalled

I know lots of the parents are using the Bumbo seats and you need to know that there have been severely injured with head injuries .  Never put the Bumbo on any surface that is raised.  So only the floor.  I would even go for carpet only.  The kids can flip themselves out of the seats.  It sounds like the recall is just to add a label to them telling you to not use them on a raised surface so I don't know that you want to toss them out, but be aware of the possible dangers.

Triplets... sure bring it on...

When Selita Grooves of Grooves Insurance said she wanted some pictures of her Grand Babies she didn't mention they were triplets + one!   So what does that mean.... it means lots of hands on deck and lots of fun.  They all did great and we can't wait for the next time... we will rest up because once this crew is running... wow it's gonna be crazy!

League of Dreams

We were happy to help out with the League of Dreams.  Terrio has organized a great league that is for kids that sometimes get left out of those sporting opportunities!  These great players with their Angels helping out were shooting hoops all day.  It was great to see some of our studio clients like little Miss Lauren and her Mom Heather!
