This is a fun little test from The Art Institute of Vancouver to find out if you are a left brain thinker or right brain thinker. My friend Michael Corsentino posted it on his blog and I'm being a copy cat! Let's see if he catches me. :)
I posted my results- now add yours to the comments!
Right Brain vs Left Brain Creativity Test
My Results:
Left Brain 42% Right Brain 58%
You are more right-brained than left-brained. The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. In addition to being known as right-brained, you are also known as a creative thinker who uses feeling and intuition to gather information. You retain this information through the use of images and patterns. You are able to visualize the "whole" picture first, and then work backwards to put the pieces together to create the "whole" picture. Your thought process can appear quite illogical and meandering. The problem-solving techniques that you use involve free association, which is often very innovative and creative. The routes taken to arrive at your conclusions are completely opposite to what a left-brained person would be accustomed. You probably find it easy to express yourself using art, dance, or music. Some occupations usually held by a right-brained person are forest ranger, athlete, beautician, actor/actress, craftsman, and artist.
Well that settles it I was meant to be an artist because we all know you wouldn't want me doing your hair- you would end up with a pony tail! Not to mention, me as a forest ranger, well that is just funny on many levels!

We just had to share that there were some cute things as people were setting up today.
Check this out.... the candle smells like baby powder! They had some really cute stuff!

of course taken on the little iphone.
:)
I'll take some real photos tomorrow, but you guys have to stop by and say hi! We saw them setting up the petting zoo or pony rides- hard to tell which as we were walking by, but it did involve hay! Bounce houses were getting set up. There is also a super cute little vendor called Milky Juggs that has the cutest nursing covers for discreet nursing moms. We saw some bear vitamins that actually look like something I might want to snack on over at Manatec. Tons of cute and I mean CUTE hairbows! There were some that were great and I swear it said $5. Definately a must see.
So we are home and tired from setting up although Kyle from Goodtime Entertainment was just getting the party started- maybe he ate some of those vitamin bears for energy! I must say it was very cool in that Kyle actually wasn't the original person scheduled to do the show, but at the last second and I mean last second picked up the ball someone else dropped and will make sure that the event is lots of fun.
If you are on our email newsletter list check your email before you come... there is something special in there for you! Also just to keep things interesting... we have brought a couple hundred in gift certificates to fabulous places like Bambini Carini & Denise Haddock Unique Interior Designs! We are giving away gift certificates each hour! There is a diaper derby and fashion show so lots of stuff to do.
So I'm off to rest my tired feet and get ready for tomorrow!
Can't wait to see everyone at the inky-dinky-do booth!
They have planned Diaper Derbies, games for kids and all sorts of activities. So come rain or shine it sounds like a great way to get out with the kids for the day. We of course will have some fun stuff for the kids and some cool stuff for Moms. We hear a Good Time Out will be there helping with some of those crazy wound up kids too! looks like some good shopping to me!
Saturday 9am to 4pm at the Fairgrounds.
A couple people have asked about the latest surgery so I thought I'd share the cool xray. Dr. Hartman was very cool about pointing out those impressive 3 inch titanium screws. So I now have lots of hardware going on. Luckily, between the knees and the feet titanium doesn't set off the metal detectors at the airport!
I will spare you the photos of the foot after the cast came off. Let's just say the kids call it frankenfoot.
The real question now is why I don't make that cool sound when I walk like the bionic woman?
We had the joy of photographing another Calvillo baby! This time it is the other twin brother and his family. While Angelica was holding the newest addition to the family we grabbed a quick image of father and son. How cute is this little guy!
Meanwhile we had a perfect little angel...
The funniest part is EVERY time Dad held her she tickled. 3 times in a row... let's just say the photo of Dad and baby has no shirt and he was a trooper to stand there in wet pants as well!
