Baby Fest is set up!
We just had to share that there were some cute things as people were setting up today.
Check this out.... the candle smells like baby powder! They had some really cute stuff!

of course taken on the little iphone.
:)
I'll take some real photos tomorrow, but you guys have to stop by and say hi! We saw them setting up the petting zoo or pony rides- hard to tell which as we were walking by, but it did involve hay! Bounce houses were getting set up. There is also a super cute little vendor called Milky Juggs that has the cutest nursing covers for discreet nursing moms. We saw some bear vitamins that actually look like something I might want to snack on over at Manatec. Tons of cute and I mean CUTE hairbows! There were some that were great and I swear it said $5. Definately a must see.
So we are home and tired from setting up although Kyle from Goodtime Entertainment was just getting the party started- maybe he ate some of those vitamin bears for energy! I must say it was very cool in that Kyle actually wasn't the original person scheduled to do the show, but at the last second and I mean last second picked up the ball someone else dropped and will make sure that the event is lots of fun.
If you are on our email newsletter list check your email before you come... there is something special in there for you! Also just to keep things interesting... we have brought a couple hundred in gift certificates to fabulous places like Bambini Carini & Denise Haddock Unique Interior Designs! We are giving away gift certificates each hour! There is a diaper derby and fashion show so lots of stuff to do.
So I'm off to rest my tired feet and get ready for tomorrow!
Can't wait to see everyone at the inky-dinky-do booth!

Adorable! This would such a fun shoot to witness.

This is a note to Steph and your crew. Thank you for being at the 2008 Bakerfield Baby Fest and for all your help. When I say that we could not have pulled the show off as well as we did without you, I Mean It. You were wonderful as always and you are a true friend. So thank you again and I know you will be at all our events for years to come. You are truly a gift from above.
Yours truly,
Marsha Bidwell
and all the gang from Baby Fest
