Workshop Alert!

We are happy to say inky-dinky-do will be speaking at the fabulous Children & Families Conference in Texas this July.  We had such a great time at the Bright Beginnings Workshop they put on last summer we are presenting a day entirely devoted to Bright Beginnings!  This is a great day geared to photographers that are just starting out or need that kick for creativity and thinking on their feet.  A little bit of business, a lot of creativity and problem solving.  Other speakers include Ana Brandt, Eric Doggett, Vicki Taufer, Stephanie Clark, Deb & Rick Ferro & Heather Khalhoff.  It is great to see so many great photographers coming together. 

 

My only question is why is it that I always end up in Texas in the heat?  Don't you guys do spring time stuff! 
Hmmm next it will be Greenbay in the freezing cold.  :)

Happy Wedding Day to Keri & Casey!

We are off to capture a beautiful day with Keri & Casey in Carmel.  We will be working late into the night so we might try and post one or two images tomorrow of the happy couple!

Why are there NEVER photos of YOU on here???

Well I suffer from a rare known condition that affects many photographers... photophobia- it prevents us photographers from being in front of the lens rather than behind it where we are happy!  So they only way to get photos of us is to work with us!  My buddy Michael Corsentino (a bay area photographer) grabbed a couple shots of me when we were photographing in Mexico.  Bless his heart.  So I'm being a good person and sharing a few (if my family is actually ever reading my blog they will quite possibly fall over from shock).  Michael will also be joining the inky-dinky-do team for a wedding at the end of the month in Carmel.  Hmmm maybe I should post some photos of him as well- perhaps the shot with the Gringo Gazette!  So now I did "play" a little with the shots "stephiefying" them- can't help it I'm an artist!  So here is a little share that may never happen again unless Joe stalks me with a camera outside the Yoga Space again!

San Diego with Keri & Casey

After we finished the Father Daughter dance we literally hopped in the car for San Diego!  I know, a little crazy, but worth it.  I got the chance to play with Keri & Casey today.  This couple is fun, silly and full of respect for one another.  We hit Balboa Park and the beach during our little play time.  The park was crazy busy being a 3 day weekend and glorious weather.  Somehow it didn't matter because Casey & Keri were definately wrapped up in each other.  We had fun with all the blooming trees, Casey played "coy" with Keri over the koi pond (he thinks I didn't hear him since I was across the pond!).  We hopped in the car and wolfed down some tangelos and water on the way to Coronado Beach.  Quick clothing change and then to the sand!  Casey is an engineer, but this highly intellegent, spohisticated guy can break a few rules... you will notice the sign on the life guard shack!  In all fairness Keri didn't blink an eye, Casey was keeping a keen eye out for our lifeguards!  These two definately balance each other out.  Keri is a free spirited artist that has a big heart and if the kind of girl that is able to find beauty all around her, even in the most basic of things like a simple sand castle.  Casey, however, can find beauty in Keri and then tell you how to properly create a structuraly sound sand castle so as to with stand the elements.  Love that!
